Introduction

L(+)-tartaric acid is a kind of natural structure organic acid which is present in many plants, such as grape and tamarind, it is also called d-tartaric acid. D(-)-tartaric acid（levo-tartaric acid）is present in the leaves and fruits of Hupeh Bauhinia in Republic of Mali and is also called l-tartaric acid. L(+)-tartaric acid and D(-)-tartaric acid can be separately biosynthesized from cis-epoxysuccinate through different enzyme, and also can be made through spilt of DL-tartaric acid.
